Rest and Exercise

Preparing for the Training Schedule

“Therefore, from your youth you have to pay attention to your daily living so that you will be healthy and will live longer on the earth...Of course, you are useful while you are young, but you will be more useful as you become older. No one desires to die early; everyone wants to live longer. I can tell you that the secret to good health depends on eating, resting, and exercising properly. Eating refers to our diet, resting refers mainly to our sleep, and exercise refers to our activities, our bodily exercise.” Witness Lee, Vessels Useful to the Lord, ch. 12

Please begin to prepare your body for the FTTA schedule. You will rise at 6:00 a.m. and go to bed at 10:30 p.m. If you are currently on a different sleep schedule, it is likely that your body will have a difficult time adjusting to the FTTA schedule, and your body may easily become worn down. For this reason, we recommend that you adjust your sleep schedule to one similar to the Training’s schedule before you arrive.
