Since there are presently no scheduled weekend trainings, the Full-Time Training in Anaheim is open to all the saints who would like to join us for an unscheduled short-term period. The unscheduled short-term trainings have no fixed dates. Saints can come and participate any time for any number of days. They will be trained in the same way as the full-timers are being trained, and will attend the same classes and participate in the same services. Additionally, they will be assigned to a specific gospel team.
Any interested person should simply fill out the application form in detail, sign it and obtain an elder's endorsement. Acceptance is automatic with the elder's recommendation, thus no phone call is needed to confirm the acceptance, however, upon receipt and acceptance of the application, we will send a confirmation email to you. The application should be mailed or faxed to our office at least five days in advance of the selected training period. Our FAX number is (714) 991-8537 (See Contact Information). Room and board charges for our limited housing remain at $20.00 per day. Payment is required at the time of registration.
Hospitality is not available during the last two weeks of the FTTA term, nor during the summer or winter trainings. This must be arranged by the sending church, through the LSM office, at the time of registration.
Please let us know ahead of time what is the estimated arrival time, as well as any change in plans that might delay or prevent you from coming to the training. Upon arrival at either LAX or Orange County Airport, trainees should plan to take the AirportBus from the airport to the Disneyland hotel, then phone us at (714) 991-4688 to inform us of your arrival. If it is at odd hours, you may also use (714) 448-0102. For groups of trainees, it is cheaper to take an airport shuttle van and be dropped off at the Anaheim meeting hall.
Bedding and towels are provided. The trainees should bring their Bible, hymn book and note pad. If their stay is lengthy, they might want to request titles of pertinent ministry books currently being used in the Full-Time Training classes.
Many full-time trainees received their burden and first taste of training by coming for a short term. May the Lord use this opportunity for His good pleasure.
